The week of YOUR APPOINTMENT:

  • The week of your appointment, make sure you’re drinking lots of water so your skin is happy and healthy for our session. Use lotion on the skin to be tattooed if you’ve got it and try to get lots of sleep and exercise. This will help our procedure go smoothly and will also help with healing post-tattoo ✨

ON THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT:

  • Please, please, please make sure that you eat a filling, nourishing meal before your tattoo! This is possibly the most important way you can prepare your body for success during our tattoo session. I do have snacks for my clients in the studio - but they are TREATS - not MEALS! We want your brain and body to be ready for our tattoo 💥

  • The address for Third Space is:

    1115 SE Morrison St, PORTLAND, OR 97214

    There is plenty of free street parking near the studio. Some of the streets have no time restrictions while some are 2 hour parking.

    The entrance to the studio is on SE Morrison Street next to the Plaid Pantry. There is a yellow door with the number 1115 over top of it.

  • Please try and arrive as close to your appointment time as possible! 👍

    If you get to the studio a bit early, you can come in and hangout in our tiny lil lobby until your scheduled appointment time ⏱️

    When it’s time for your appointment, you’ll start with filling out paperwork and then we’ll get started! 🙌

  • Please let me know by texting me at 774-223-0331 💬

    If you are running more than 15 minutes late, I may reschedule your appointment. We can find you a new appointment time, but you will be required to pay a second $50 deposit to rebook.

    If you are more than 15 minutes late and I have not heard from you, I will consider your appointment a no-show and your appointment will be canceled and your deposit will be forfeited.

    I have these policies to protect my time as your tattoo artist - and to prevent sessions from going long and effecting my clients after you!

  • MUST HAVE:

    💦 Water bottle

    👙 Change of clothes (for hard to reach tattoos: belly, butt, ribs, etc)

    NICE TO HAVE:

    🍎 Snacks/food you enjoy

    🧩 Stim toys

    🕹 Handheld games (Switch, Gameboy, etc)

    🎧 Noise-canceling headphones

    🛌 Blankets

    👯‍♀️ A support person (friend, partner, loved one, etc.)**

    ** if you are planning to bring a support person, please let me know ahead of your appointment

  • I recommend wearing loose-fitting and comfy clothes for your appointment. You’ll be sitting in one place for an uncomfortable (and often painful) procedure - and wearing something comfortable can REALLY help.

    Do NOT wear anything you would not like to get dirty. I keep a clean station and try my best to keep the mess to an absolute minimum - but when tattooing, there is always a possibility that you may get ink, plasma, or blood on your clothes.

    I must be able to get to the area we are tattooing, so please make sure you wear the appropriate clothing for this! If you’d like, you can always bring a change of clothes to change into in the bathroom.

    If you have long hair and we are tattooing near that area, I may ask you to put your hair up 👱‍♀️

  • At your appointment, you can pay via cash (preferred) or venmo (if needed)!

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT:

  • Follow your aftercare instructions according to the type of bandage that’s covering your tattoo!

  • Your tattoo may heal and need a bit of extra love to get it to its most beautiful, vibrant state!

    HOW TO TELL IF YOUR TATTOO NEEDS A TOUCH-UP:

    • Areas with color-fill or black-fill have healed and look cloudy, patchy, or only partially filled.

    • Some lines have faded or disappeared from our design.

    • There is blow-out or ink-spread. This looks like cloudy or fuzzy lines, sometimes with a halo around the line or area filled.

    If any of these happen, it’s not the end of the world! There are some creative ways we can cover this up or blend this into your design to make it look like it was never there ✨

    SCHEDULING A TOUCH-UP:

    Touch-ups are FREE within ONE YEAR of receiving your tattoo. Please give your tattoo at least 2 months to heal before requesting a touch-up!
