    my name is Tia Katcharian (they/them) and i often tell people i’m a queer, non-binary, neurodivergent artist who loves to do lots of things: tattoo, make clothes, take photos, play basketball, poke around the forest, jam w/ friends, host gatherings, etc etc… 🌀

    i dislike overhead lights. i’ve been considering adopting a dog. i really enjoy eating the same foods for a while before i move onto a new repeat meal (right now it’s sesame bagels w/ cream cheese 🥯)

    i LOVE learning new things and asking endless questions - rn i’m fascinated w/ electricity and have been learning how 2 make lamps. i also hope to make my own remote control cars and dinosaurs and whatnot ⚡️

    i’m a second year tattooer, learning everyday - and i am so grateful that I get to work with such kind folks in a lovely studio (with plenty of good snacks and good music) 🌈

  • I am a resident artist at Third Space in Southeast Portland 🙌

    Third Space is a shared tattoo studio that is also a community gathering space hosting meetups and workshops and other fun things. It’s super cute and I love the humans I work with 🌸

  • Yes!

    If coming by car, there is plenty of free street parking near the studio 🚗

    If coming by bus, we are at the intersection of two major bus routes: the 70 and the 15 🚎

    There are no stairs to enter the studio. Inside the studio, my tattoo bed has a small step stool to assist folks in getting up onto the bed. 🪜

    There is a bathroom in the studio that measures roughly 8’x8’. There are currently no handrails (something we hope to install very soon)

  • My minimum for custom tattoo projects is $200 💵

    HOWEVER! If your budget is a bit lower, I’ve also got GOOPLINGS - lil tiny tattoo appointments that cost $100 🙌

  • At your tattoo appointment, you can pay via cash (preferred) or venmo if needed 👍

  • If you need to reschedule your tattoo appointment, please let me know at least 48 hours before your appointment. If you need to reschedule your appointment within 48 hours, you can still do so - but I require a second non-refundable deposit of $50.

    If you need to cancel your appointment, you can do so at any time, but you will forfeit your non-refundable deposit.

  • I definitely have lots to learn when it comes to tattooing color pieces on melanated skin - but I’m so down to learn and I love working with my melanated clients!

    I enjoy working with folks to find the colors that work on their skin! You can see some examples of my work on melanated skin here 💫

  • I would LOVE to be a traveling tattoo artist! One of the reasons I decided to become a tattoo artist was to explore different cities while still earning an income.
